Stuffies

Amigumuri is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Amirumuri very in size and there are no restrictions about size or look. I love creating tiny creatures for people. Most of these items I free handed. Meaning I did not have instructions or a pattern to tell me how to make the item. A few I designed my own patterns for and a couple I purchased patterns from other designers to recreate their work. For example, the peas in a pod I free handed. No instructions or pattern. The mini pigs on the other hand, I purchased a pattern from a designer and used their instructions to recreate their mini pig design. And then there’s the mini hippos. I free handed one and then designed a pattern with instructions for others to recreate my mini hippo design. Each item was made by hand and with love.

Clothing

Crocheting clothing is one of the most complex project to take on. The measurements have to be precise in order for items to fit properly. Although it is complicated it is one of my favorite things to do. Most of these items I free handed and designed my own patterns for. Hats and slippers are a very common request around winter time. My personal favorites were the sundresses. I made many different color combinations and was able to design a pattern for different sizes. The funnest ones I did was the deer antlers beanies. It was a great novelty gift for any hunter.

Lighter Covers

Inspired for my love of making tine amigumuri stuffies and 420. When you can turn your lighters into just about anything you can think of how could you ever stop? I had a blast making these lighter covers as gifts for friends and family.

Potions

Energy is in everything. More so in some things than in others. For example, rosemary represents love, happiness and loyalty. Burned in an incense blend, it can aid in healing and remove negativity. Salt is essential for life. It was an important commodity in the ancient world and remains important today. Its known to absorb and protect against negative energies. Another example is Roses which represent pure love, gratitude, admiration, innocence, joy, desire, friendship, and more depending on the color. Properly making a potion boils down to education and the proper intentions. While it does take a lot of energy to make them, they give off so much more energy back in return.

Dreamcatchers and Rugs

Dreamcatchers are protective talismans used to protect people from nightmares and bad dreams. My style is not traditional. While I try to use natural and ethically sourced items in my dreamcatchers, they are modern with a hint of bohemian in style, Some are simple and some are complex. Some are small and some are massive. But each is unique. My rugs are definitely a boho style. Eye catching yet elegant. Best part is kids love them because of the different shapes and soft textures.
